The Muppets Review

The Muppets is a Walt Disney Pictures movie released in 2011. There is a business man, Tex Richman, who plans to demolish the Muppets Theater in order to drill for oil. Now, the world\’s biggest Muppets fan Walter, his brother Gary and girlfriend Mary are all working together in order to raise $10 million to save the theater.

The group of fans head out to find Kermit. They are certain that the only way for them to raise the $10 million that they need to buy back and save the Muppets Theater is to get all of the Muppets back together and have them put on a show. So the group sets out to find all of the the Muppets that have not been together for years.

Fozzie is working with a group of Muppet impersonators, Miss Piggy is working for Vogue, Gonzo is working as a plumber, and Animal works in an anger management clinic. All of the Muppets agree to go along and help out to raise the money, with the exception of Miss Piggy. She refuses to go along, so they replace her with the Muppet impersonator that Fozzie had been working with.

The Muppets try to find a television station that will allow them to have their show in order to raise the money they need. They finally find Veronica Martin that will allow them a two hour spot if they are able to find a guest host. Miss Piggy then returns and kicks out the impersonator.

The Muppets kidnap Jack Black so he can be their guest host. They then perform the telethon, which did go well, but didn\’t raise the money that they needed in order to buy back the theater. When the Muppets walk out of the theater, they see a large group of fans and television crews waiting for them. Tex then gives the Muppets Theater back to the Muppets because Gonzo\’s act had made him laugh for the first time.

For all of the Muppet fans out there, this is a terrific movie to see.
